So I used to love F1; back in the day; when it was exhilarating, exciting and dangerous! In the modern day it’s become safe, bland and predictable! Safe is good I guess but does equate to a bit dull! To make a Hollywood movie of something that is already bland and predictable; offers up; well; bland and predictable results! You don’t need to pay to see this movie; just watch a F1 race day on TV, cheaper and quicker! It’s everything, I personally; hate in movies these days! It is both politically and racially correct; something that F1 and indeed real life rarely is; and the ‘over the tannoy’ commentary throughout; that explains every event that happens; or indeed doesn’t happen; it’s quite frankly; condescending! But whilst Pitt is above all this; it is well shot! I guess my synopsis then is as follows: If you enjoy modern day F1 as it is on TV, you’ll love this movie. Knock yaself awt!
