Why does this give me "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" kind of vibe. Love both by the way!! So cute with the tension.

This movie was nonsense, pathetic and depressing. I understand its meant to be depressing because as the character states he was in a prison or a cage, but so many things didn't add up. Both the alarm and the sprinkler system were set off and no one came up to see what was going on while the owner was gone?! No fire dept, no police, not even a notification to the owner?! Also he had a walkie-talkie, he couldve went onto any other channel and radio for help; he couldve used his feces to write help on the windows for all the helicopters that passed by. Made no sense, not to mention the cliff hanger ending, so we all wonder what happened to Dafoe but at least let us see the rich guys reaction to his house!! My husband put this movie on and he's the type to finish something even if it's bad, and he made me suffer through this movie. I was relieved when I heard him start to repeat what he said at the beginning bc I knew that was the hint that it was the last 10-15 mins and I was just waiting for him to either hang himself, fall to his death or jump off the building but no, none of those options, just ending with a cliff hanger, which made it even worse.
