Boys over flowers was one of the most pure hearted dramas I’ve seen. Everyone wants to compare Meteor Garden to BOF. Well Boy over flowers was made well before the meteor garden was. It was made in 2009 and that was 14 years ago. Hair dues and clothes were different then. The way I see the film is about a girl Jandi was was never subjected to the life style of the rich. She had never been in a relationship with a boy and never knew how to be around boys. I think she was pure of heart and loyal to a fault. She trusted people to much and was taken advantage of. She came from the wrong side of the tracks which she didn’t know how the other half lived. She was proud of her family. The bullying that went on was a little much but if the truth be known I’m sure it goes on all the time. I do believe that Ji hoo was her soulmate and Ju pyo was her love. I think she loved them both but in different ways. She loved Ji hoo but was in love with Ju pyo. There is a difference. Ku Hye Sun did a great job with playing Jandi and Lee Min Ho did the same. They could have left the part where he lost his memory and took up with that whiny girl. I couldn’t stand her. I have watched this I don’t know how many times. The music in this drama was beautiful. Every tune. Everyone needs. to remember their first love is something you never get over and never forget. Meteor Garden copied BOF and I think it was Chinese and BOF was Korean. BOF was definitely the better drama. Don’t get me wrong I love Dylan Wang and especially when he did the drama Only For Love. That was real good too. Well that’s enough of my opinion. Thanks!
