DON'T BUY IF YOU LIVE OVER SEAS! I bought the game in Japan which is where I live at. I am originally from the United states. My primary language is english. I bought the game for my PS5 from the PS store. I have my PS5 set to English but unfortunately I'm stuck with using region locked content apparently. Here in Japan Elden ring is not available in english. I had no idea when buying the game that it was going to be region locked. My understanding from what I was reading on bandai's website is that it had some English cutscenes that they were going to put subtitles in for those regions or people didn't speak english.I paid slightly over $90 for a game that I cannot read and or understand. Any of the cutscenes that are in English is still in English but all the rest of the game is in what I assumed to be japanese. Sony will not give me a refund. And bandai has not responded to any of my emails over the last 8 days. I have read many forums that people around the world that live in foreign countries are having the same experience and all of us are getting the runaround from bandai. It's odd to think that a gaming company that sells a product around the world will region lock their game. My understanding is if you bought the game for your PC on a steam account you were totally fine but if you bought your game for Xbox or your PS system you're screwed. The rest of my PS5 game library all has English options. I bought my PS5 here in japan. Every game that I have bought has been bought here in japan. All of them have an English option except for bandai Elden ring. Apparently bandai is a garbage company!
