It's not "Ray" 4 sure! I dont think any biopic attempt will ever come close! But Jenn did a great job with her vocal abilities. Aretha is one of the soundtracks of my humble beginnings till her homecoming. I knew of her father's ungodly parties from my cousins who resided in Detroit at that time. I didn't know of her molestation issues. That blew me away. She overcame & did her best! Her service to this globe speaks in volumes! The film overall in my opinion is good! I know Ree is smiling above! I cried like a baby at the end... She sang for Carole King at The Kennedy Honors it hits me everytime! I mother & grandma loved her dearly.. I miss them all.... Aretha you are truly missed!
