I must say I was only able to view a substantial portion of the first installment during a holiday visit to friends. Despite what appeared to be a small amount of video that was slightly out of context, what I saw was rare indeed: a sizable portions of a true and historic work session during which the audience is privy to the creative process of what is obviously a group of downright serious and extremely skilled individuals of the highest order. This effort to document these musicians in what would otherwise have been a mundane crafting session would never have been attempted if they were not famous as they were. To add to that, these musicians were approaching the end of a period of years developing together as an exclusive creative unit. Now, others can share my good fortune and view the near miracle of what can take place in one setting when there come together so many of the optimal conditions that produce true greatness.
