A Child Called "It" has made me realize that everyone has something going on in there life. I would definitely recommend it 13+. There was a few bad words and sometimes there detailed abuse but overall it was a great book. I saw the pain of David and his unlucky life situation but there was always some hope along the way and he got through it. David kept going and he made it out of his home safely. This helps people be more aware of the things that can happen and to be nice to everyone because you don't know what's happening to people. 5 stars for me.
