It was EXCEPTIONAL! Beautiful cinematography and setting in Sicily. And absolute killer scenes from The very beginning of a man who is very good at what he does. This film left me wanting more! Denzel’s portrayal of Roberto McCall (two C’s, two L’s) has always been brilliant. This film shows the continued struggles of a good man tormented by his training and skill set; by the fact that he is very good at what he does. He is patient, methodical and “neat”! Roberto is growing and finding peace. Despite still wearing his wedding ring, he allows himself to be attracted to another woman. However there is the constant struggle displayed by how he plays with the ring, cleans the ring after his kills and can’t seem to take it off forever. This finale of the Equalizer series solidified our need for Mr. McCall to live while giving himself grace in life.While it does not answer all our questions, the film allows us to continue the discussion and be happy for the peace that our favorite vigilante has found. I love EVERYTHING about it!!
