This movie was surprising. Not “shocking” surprising, but surprising due to its unpredictably. Yes, it was slow. But, I didn’t mind because I wasn’t constantly trying to figure out what would happen next; it didn’t feel necessary. That was refreshing. I appreciated simply drifting along. With all that being said, I was unprepared for the ending.
Great acting. Great directing. Loved the ties to the original movie.
If you watch it based on this review and hate it, I’m sorry. This isn’t a feel good movie. Go watch Emily in Paris or The Adam Project.
