Not as good as the Mandalorian to the point that the producers realized about three episodes into filming that they had a dud on their hands and had to force the Mandalorian, Luke and Grogo back in to save it. The effects are weak. The chase scene in M.E. with the hover bikes and sand speeder was awful. Some parts seemed like a cheap western from the 1960's. There is a definite agenda from Disney as well. Too many women and too many cheaply done aliens and virtually no white men (CGI Luke doesn't count). Before I am criticized for that, Rogue One is my favorite SW film since Return of the Jedi. Unless things change, season 2 will see a drop in ratings.
