This is what we heard from Many people having watched Border Security: "It seems The Australian Government is letting too many petty criminals enter their border "Free to go". Many Asian law breakers are just laughing at the ridiculously small fines they have to pay for introducing dangerous goods, biological hasards, prohibited items, false identifications, blank credit cards, etc. In the US they would be simply arrested, sentenced and jailed or sent back to their starting port. Australian Border authorities are so nice, they are just not being taken seriously.'"
