Loved it! ❤️ Everyone has their own (positive) personality that shines through! I love how this reincarnation of splinter just calls them by their mask names, it’s so cute! I initially watched the 2012 version but stopped after I just couldn’t take it anymore. April was bland, all of the turtles looked identical (aside from the masks) and the animation wasn’t as good as this one’s is (in my opinion). In this one they’re each a different species of turtle, which gives them more variety as well as demonstrating that family can be more than just being biologically related. April has a personality, she’s energetic and outgoing unlike her previous shy characters while still retaining her smarts. Brothers like Donnie and Mikey don’t get pushed onto the back burner because Leo and Raph are fighting for leadership. No. Raph is the leader and they act like real siblings (OOOOHH, bURn TMNT 2K12!!) and they all get along really well (most of the time)! Splinter is actually funny and interesting and the animation is so fun! Going into this series my favourite turtle was Raphael but this series has made me a HUGE Donatello fan, I love how he now has new traits besides intelligence and just crushing on April like 2012 Donnie did (yes, that was a jab towards the 2012 series, deal with it)! Every-turtle is a funny and enjoyable character in this universe!! Recommended to ALL!!! 👍🏽❤️😊🐢💜
