This is must reading for any salmon fisherman who haunts the salmon rivers of New Brunswick and the Canadian Maritimes. It is an extraordinary history of salmon fishing on the Cains, one of the major tributaries of the Southwest MIramichi River. Of particular interest is Brad's detailed account of those outfitters and families who developed fishing camps on the Cains. It is a beautiful book filled with illustrations and pictures which complement this history. For me, I found Brad's chapter on the Seabury Stanton log book absolutely fascinating.
