I used to be excited to see the opportunities afforded to amateur dancers that have worked hard and tirelessly and able to compete on SYTYCD. I am disappointed that the winner this season danced with Derek Hough. She is a professional. Yes, she was amazing! But,the contest should not be won by someone who has danced professionally. The runner-up, that was truly an amateur, should have won!! The same rules, in my opinion, were violated when the "amateur" winners in the past were dancers on Broadway and on the screen.
