First, to anyone who says Elden Ring, though a fantastic game, is better than Dark Souls 1 or 3, or Bloodborne- shame on you. And anyone who ranks Lies of P higher than DS 1 or 3, or Bloodborne or Elden Ring- well, I needed a laugh so thanks. Lies of P is a really good game so far. It's not DS1 or 3, or Bloodborne or Elden Ring. And it's not meant to be. Nor is it meant to compete with them. Lies of P is inspired by all of those games, particularly Bloodborne. And it's meant as a game to honor specifically Bloodborne, who it takes much obvious inspiration from. And it does a good job of doing that. Plenty of reviews say the right things about Lies of P. It's a good game and it's fun to play. Don't compare Lies of P to the OG in terms of better than or whatever. Take it for what it is meant to be. What it is. Clear your mind, pick up the controller & enjoy a good game that is fun to play and does honor to its inspiration.
