Anne Marie Antoinette

3 stars only because of Kim Soo Hyun. He is a great handsome actor with a lot of Carisma. The actor who plays his half brother was very good as well. The young prince and princess leads were outstanding. But I cannot believe that they cast that bland bad actress to play the love interest of the two male lead actors. It was painful to watch. In one of her close ups you could see her acne ( not her fault) but she had the same expression with her huge big eyes ( probably operated, a lot of Asian women have her eyelids worked on through plastic surgery) the plot was OK but Kim Soo Hyun kept me sort of interested. If casting would have chosen a prettier and better actress to be the love interest of the two brothers it would have elevated this K-drama. The rest of the cast was just ok.

I love this drama “What is wrong with secretary Kim “ the best after “her private life” Ryan Gold was a good boyfriend but Lee Young-Joon is much better. I think that Park Seo Young is a fantastic actor as he made a role that could be cringy and cheesy, cute funny sad entertaining lovable and if that was his singing Bravo ! The kissing scenes were very romantic and looked so real. Definitely one of my favorite k-drama with coffee prince and the one mentioned above ( same actress in both ) two thumbs up on Netflix. I also like the rest of the cast. The office workers/friends were perfect to make the story fun and watchable. K-dramas are my therapy. I do not care about pretentious Hollywood actors or film any longer.

I disliked the serie Crazy love although Kim Jae Wook is my favorite Korean actor who has been very underrated until now. In this film he was not at his best because the story is dumb. I very much hated the main actress‘s acting always making the same face through the entire K drama with the sad eyes and shy and confused demeanor. I never bought her love for him when he becomes a better person. The only original and funny scene to me was when she throws at her boss ( Kim Jae Wook ) a huge bag of onions because he detests onions. I hope that next lead part for Kim Jae Wook will show his many talents where he will be finally rewarded.

I love Koreans soap opera. It is fun and you learn a lot about their tradition and culture. In this show food is also in full display. Some dialogue is clever and funny. I like the actors even though some are extremely exaggerated like the dying mother from the Philippines her acting is so forced. The chairman is also a caricature but fun. I hate the drummer wife she is mean and has a one dimensional part as a total horrible partner. The doctor is attractive his wife’s giggles are annoying but she has wisdom.1
