As a Dad I was a little reluctant to see this movie in the theater with my wife and 11 year old daughter. When we walked in the theater was filled with all women and girls. The movie turned out to be a revelation about what young girls are really feeling and going through at the precipice of puberty. It was also charming, funny, and very entertaining. I think it helped to create an even stronger bond between my daughter and myself. There need be no shame, only a mutual understanding of the natural progression of a young girl’s life. I highly recommend this film to other Dads.
