Spoilers:
This movie had some beautiful shots and good storytelling but overall it was a disappointment. The main character, Nora, was very dislikeable as she was basically emotionally cheating on her husband. I felt so bad for Arthur, Nora's husband. His wife, the love of his life, whom he's known for twelve years and has been married to for seven is nearly swept away by another man Nora hasn't seen since childhood. But the most uncomfortable scene by far was when the three of them went to the bar and Nora and Hae Sung had an entire conversation in Korean which is a language Arthur does not speak. Even if Nora and Hae Sung's conversation was entirely innocent, it is still extremely rude to do so. But it was not an innocent conversation. Hae Sung admits he has feelings for Nora at that moment while Arthur is literally sitting right next to them. Arthur isn't entirely fluent in Korean but knows a couple of words because he's been trying to learn for his wife so I imagine he knows some of what they are saying to each other and if he doesn't he can definitely tell that they are staring into each other's eyes like soulmates. I spent most of this movie feeling so bad for Arthur. He is such a supportive husband. Even when he is clearly uncomfortable with what is happening between Nora and Hae Sung, he still lets Nora see Hae Sung because he knows that they are friends. I do not recommend seeing this film as it portrays the idea that emotional cheating is okay.
