This show has been a staple of my tv viewing for many years and I love it. However this morning (12/15/19) some fool decided to introduce politics with Point Counterpoint. BOO! HISS! BOO!

To me this movie is a microscopic study in family, community and tolerance. The protagonist is a painfully shy man who, when prodded by those around him, resorts to unusual if not bizarre behavior to meet society's expectations. The acting is superb and the plot beautifully crafted.

I have been watching PBS NewsHour for over 25 years. It covers social & political issues from every perspective. I want to take this opportunity to beg PBS to re-broadcast the show I saw over ten years ago about the rise of the third Reich in Germany. I believe it is your obligation to the American people to run this show sometime during the coming election campaigns as many times as possible. I will post this message in as many places as possible
