I have missed every series that has been shown. I can't explain why. Now I have discovered it I think it is one of the best things I have seen on British TV in decades. Sally Wainwright has a way of tearing at your heartstrings and then putting them back together. It's helpful that all the cast are absolutely fantastic in particular the brilliant Sarah Lancashire.
