Didn't know what to expect. I was not familiar with the plot of the story. Both actresses have wonderful singing voices. The costumes and set was top notch. The music was ok. I thought the film was too long. Didn't quite make the connection with the goat professor and living in a world where animals have no voice.

As a baby boomer, I could relate to all the nuances of the 60s. Anyone younger won't get it. I loved the story line, the writing and the incredible cast.

Confusing plot. Weird events that don't seem to connect. Great cast just couldn't pull it together

Heartwarming and wonderful holiday story. Background is 1931 depression-era. From Pittsburgh to rural Maine, 12 year old Emma learns that miracles can happen. Dogs are banned in Doverville, ME due a 2006 ordinance banning dogs. Dog catchers pickup dogs, homeless or not for nefarious purposes. A wonderful woman is trying to establish a dog orphanage. Emma learns that anyone and everyone can make a difference in a homeless animal's life. Redemption and forgiveness do work miracles, especially at Christmas.

Really enjoyed. Loved the way the actual feast of the seven fishes was woven into the movie. Like a cookbook for how to prepare the feast. It's entertaining and I recommend as a new addition to your Christmas favorites

I love this movie. The cast is superb. I've seen it many times and still love the humor.

I think having Tom's mother - she's a strong character- moving in with them will pick up the personal interactions between the characters. Show needs a shot of oomph.

I preferred the book. Movie was a bit slow moving. One thing that wasn't explained in movie was how the tides helped her with the cover up. In the book,I believe this was explained and how her familiarity with the natural environment gave her the confidence she needed to plan this around the Greenville trip.
