Felt as long as it is. Disjointed. Not enough focus on the investigation and too much on the relationship between Burkhart and his wife. Too many repetitive scenes. A lame last scene. It was like Scorsese could not figure out how to wrap it up. Needed more courtroom scenes; there were plenty of scenes that could have been cut to do this. All in all a very disappointing effort.

Slow, ponderous, boring, shallow. Very hard to care about any of the charscters.
