This game actually got me back into basketball, can't even lie. The last truly enjoyable 2K experience, in my opinion at least, was 2K17.
This game is just world's different experience wise from the last couple of years. I've truly noticed the game doesn't rely heavily on animations to determine if you make a shot anymore, defense is so much better, badges are easy to upgrade, etc.
I'm truthfully surprised by how much I'm enjoying this game, I thought it was just going to be another half broke, low effort 2K game but I can say I was wrong.
You actually have to discipline yourself for which shots you take, and when to not shoot. Screens are easier to fluidly include in your offense, a great way to get an open shot or an easy assist to the paint.
