10/10 As a fan of the entire series, this movie was such a treat to watch. Although the pacing was slowed at certain points and some goofy scenes that toned down the horror, the story was so interesting and intriguing that I did not look away from the screen once. Of course, it has some flaws, but overall it was such a great experience. I even got to watch it with my dad, who does not know anything about the game or the series, and is not even a fan of horror in general, and also called it a neat experience, giving it a 7/10. The horror was definitely toned down though, and it felt more like a suspense/thriller movie. But it was definitely worth the 8 year wait!
