Very interesting premise but isn’t really developed. The machismo culture is, though. Women are only shown as the typical empty female roles. An “ideal mother” who feels guilty by wanting to leave a life-threatening relationship. A savvy older woman who happens to be a warmonger. I will say I am not a big action movie lover and did go for the premise. The heavy machismo culture took away from its development though. It created a more shooting and less thinking context for a fascinating idea.
