If you’ve never seen Band of Brothers or The Pacific it’ll likely be more enjoyable. However the production value and casting on this is markedly worse than Band of Brothers and the Pacific. I was surprised given it came from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg as well.

Seasons 1 and 3 were engaged, well developed and highly recommend. Season 2 was all over the place and Season 4 is tracking similarly. Not sure why the inconsistencies across seasons.
