It's a rerun of the 1st film that is lacking in inspiration. All the characters are tweaks of their predecessors but not as good especially the lead who mimics Russell Crow but lacks the gravitas.

I honestly fell asleep watching this. Looks incredible and stylish like the originals but the plot was infathomable. I followed along for the 1st 30mins but I lost the will to keep up. After a while it became a regurgitation of ideas from all the other Matrix movies...yawn 💤

Surprised how great this film was. A sequel to any hallowed classic is always setting its self up for failure but they got this one right in my opinion. Excellent script, casting & effects creates a creepy thriller. How refreshing to see strong female characters without having politics constantly shoehorned into the script.
