I just love Detectorists… we’re watching it all yet again. It makes us laugh, cry and sing. From the birdsong to the trees, flowers, perfectly crafted bullseye humour to the infuriating lovable characters and gorgeous music. Only downside is we’ll have finished it again soon and will have to wait a while before we watch it all again. We are walkers of the countryside and always notice the small things, the ancient past we walk over, the giant old trees, wild places and everything in them…. always with our soggy sandwiches and flask of coffee talking bollocks and loving every minute. This sweet silly genius simplicity is us.
