pretentious , Like a TV soap opera trying to capitalize on names and culture of rustic towns of India , but have no depth to show about the culture or interplay of local issues with politics. Just like any other political crime thriller , assuming mouthing vulgarities will make it appeal to audience thirsting for real plot lines. wish they have conducted research on local issues and merged with plot lines in an effusive approach. Mirzapur is a stale thriller with poor originality.
