Amazing twist on monkey king - journey to the west. I always wondered what happened as a kid after journey of the west is over and monkey king becomes the greatest sage. I love how this story has a twist to it and symbolizing Asian culture . It also highlights the struggle when asian tried to fit into the American school system and the jokes that were played mocking asian culture. Well played indeed and can’t wait for future seasons !
