Her world is battered , dripping of blood ; hence the scenes are brilliantly captured in shades of red by cinematographer #SiddharthDiwan. If you think this is a horror film , let me tell you this horror is derived from the real world , one that we live in our everyday lives. This is a story about the ghosts hiding under our beds . A directorial debut by the talented writer , lyricist #AnvitaDutt, the narration is almost flawless. Though the end could have been better, one cannot overlook the fact that story has been woven all throughout around the age old beliefs with such intricacy, only to tear it apart ruthlessly in the end.The symbolism of woman as ‘plaything’ by toe rings, a puppet doll, is interspersed with such finesse, that it hits you hard. For viewers who avoid horror films ( like me ) I would say, please go ahead and watch it. It will break the barriers of ‘supernatural’ in your mind . I promise, you will fall in love with this ‘Chudail’ and would want to hug her ! A must watch this weekend if you haven’t yet ! Happy viewing ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
