The storyline was good, the customes, set design and creature effects also good, good beginning and good ending for it sets the tone for continuation. However, I've guven 3 stars for room for improvement bc the acting could use some work from the actors or better direction/guidance at least. The foundation was solid, as it adds depth although it definitely could have been tweaked further for human relation and connection of the major characters, but there's just too much of the warcraft world to attempt to unravel in 1 movie. The kinggs acting also was poor, but made up by Travis Fimmel whimsical persona, Ben Foster's coldness, & my fav. halfling (half orc and human) played by Paula Patton was believable and also enticing. Unfortunately, it didn't do to well in the box office and now it's in Netflix, in hopes of rebirth. Give it a go with an open mind and enjoy the fantasy world.

I wasn't surprised...figured it would be good. Having first seen The OA, I can see how this was the root of their spiritual and philosophical journey. The movie touched home. Yes, it is a movie about 2nd chances, but more than that, if you have ever fallen & hit rock bottom and awakened into the now...and seen more than what we have been accustomed to seeing, then this is for you. If you have been seeking that which you not know of, this is for you. See more than you currently see. The writers of this movie and series The OA, aren't just creative and intuitive, but awakened into the messages that our Divinity/Universe is trying to convey. Enjoy! Brit Marling, give us more!
