Absolutely not at all what the descriptions portray, but I can handle that. It was executed poorly with few good characters, none of whom were the protagonist.

I don't honestly know where I first heard of this book. The Times, maybe? All I know is that I bought it on Kindle a few weeks back (I think) and decided the other day I wanted to read something fiction. And so I opened this book up and started to read. And I couldn't stop reading. Few heroines are like Elizabeth Zott and for this particular science-minded female, it was very nice to have someone relatable for once. Cannot recommend highly enough.
