The book had built upon hindu mythology which is why it's getting so much traction and perhaps praise. The storyline is good and the ending is superb. What did not appeal to me is the twisted idea of mythology characters and the crude cannibalism involved which makes the book dark. Unlike The Shiva Trilogy the book has a lot of misses and not a read for kids for sure.
