I need to preface by saying that I am an overly nit picky person. The layout and the plot of the show are fine. It's just some of the character traits and the wardrobe choices of the characters that throws me off and makes me irrationally irritated. First of all, the hair on the 'early-mid 20s' Kate. They could not have picked a more horrendous wig. Then there's the really awkward demeanor of middle aged Kate. I know that she's meant to be an awkward character, but it's much too juvenile for a 40 something. And the tongue clicking. I can't get past it. I know she's the 'lovable' character, but she just irritates me enough to rate the show 3/5 stars.
