TLDR: openly glorifies and promotes pedophilia between adult male and a 16 year old boy. Some good writing and acting, but terrible world building - in terms explaining anything about how your magic, hierarchical systems, or integration with the non magic world works. Terrible fights and plot progressions scenes that make no sense, like a bunch of English teens not having phones? Or not driving places instead of walking through the woods? Or long distance fighters, deciding to instead hold their bow in their hand and just run up to the soldiers with obviously superior hand to hand skills. Or the absolutely forced chemistry between a fully adult male and two teenagers! Which is the biggest reason for one star - glorified pedophilia
