Awful. As someone who looked forward to this story being on screen for years it is truly disappointing. It feels like the people who made it did a rough outline of the actual story and then gave up. Having read and reread this story for over 30 years it’s easy to see that it was written in a way that would be easily adapted to television. The books were filled with incredible descriptions and details that seem to have been thrown out the window entirely. The storyline is such that I don’t even know the story they’re telling. Not in relation to the books anyway. For the amount of money spent it could have been so much better. Tragic
