I highly recommend this series. While I had never seen the other version nor read the book, that in no way diminished my enjoyment of this series. The acting was superb and up until the final moments, I had no idea who the killer was. I think you will be pleased that you watched this.

I enjoyed this novel a great deal and cried like a baby several times, especially at the end. I heartily recommend it to anyone who likes family sagas, especially those centered around close families. I hope a movie is made from it!
