I wanted to like this show but, the main character - Daisy, was just so unlikable that I chose to read spoilers rather than suffer through the remainder of episode 8 and even watch 9. The writers really made it hard to “get” Daisy - are we to feel she’s worthy of empathy when all we see is a continuum of “I’m such a victim” so let me destroy the lives of innocent, good people. I mean, the writers gave us, collectively, 10 minutes of backstory to learn she was seemingly neglected as a child and had selfish parents and, so, this gives the writers enough reason to create a whole series about the trials and tribulations of Daisy Jones? Without saying too much, the main characters genuinely make this show too challenging to watch all the way through. There’s zero substance that you can attach to Daisy especially so you may find it hard to make it through to the end.
