This is a really excellent collection of folk tales from the Caribbean. My favourite aspect of the book is the set of first-hand personal accounts from people who migrated to England during the Windrush years - these are fascinating memories from when they were kids, and their first impressions and their experiences of England are sometimes heart-warming, and some of them sadening.
