Enjoyed the book. I understand the focus on men as fathers, and the need for public policies to help both men and women in parenting. However, being single most of my career, I do feel that at times “family friendly” corporate policies ended up simply being “let the single people” work the long hours and handle the difficult projects. Along with travel and being away from home. Especially during the days of the military draft, and overseas assignments. After layoffs and downsizing, less people required more work for those remaining. Giving men and women more time away from work, doesn’t reduce the amount of work! Don’t just pass the problem on to another demographic.
