After reading a few of the reviews below, I concur that Austin is a star in the making. His performance is Oscar worthy and I am sure Elvis and Jesse gave their blessings from heaven. I, too, also loved that the movie shared Elvis's southern roots, the music, and the black and brown community that influenced his performance and showmanship. Tom Hanks gives a great performance of the despicable Colonel. The movie also shares the manipulation of an artist for monetary gain. We have seen it with Elvis, Michael Jackson and most recently Brittany Spears. The music and soundtrack is great and the mixing of Elvis's songs with modern renditions is one that I would purchase.
