Good action scenes, fairly straightforward story. 2.5 hour runtime but it did not feel that long. Not for young children.

Very good film. Everyone speaks in Japanese but there are English subtitles. Not sure if pre-teens would enjoy this as much because there needs to be some basic understanding of WW2 and the world of the 1940s. Godzilla is a menace, not a hero or anti-hero in this movie. The main cast play their roles very well and are very likeable. The studio/director just earned themselves a fan
