To preface, I barely made it through the first episode so my opinion will likely be skewed as a result. However, that being said, I couldn’t even make it through the first episode because of the videos, audio and insinuations of animal abuse. It was so uncomfortable that I felt irrationally angry until the point where I just had to turn it off. I never watch docs or movies without knowing the context so I guess that’s what I get for watching something for the sole purpose of hearing a guy mispronounce that Toronto suburb..

Downton Abbey is a beautifully written series that explores both the lives of the aristocracy as well as the servants that serve them day and night. It's a fascinating exploration into a different time of grandeur but also the realities and difficulties in changing times. Re-watching this show at the end of 2020 was so eye opening, noticing the similarities to how much society changed after the trauma of war and wondering how ours will change too. So 10/10, classic British series, will re-watch over and over!

Fantastic story line and eye opening from beginning to end

This was a childhood favourite and I was thoroughly disappointed. It was like a bunch of white people wrote, produced and directed a classic chinese tale which was padded with an all asian cast as an attempt to avoid criticism, oh wait...

It's a well directed show on the horrors of a nuclear explosion, how unsuspecting the people living in the area was and how irresponsible those responsible were on taking the dangers of what was happening seriously. I haven't delved into the factual events of Chernobyl so not sure if I learned anything about the event from the series but it's worth a watch, it's a mini series so it's not long either. The only thing is....why are they British....? Am I missing something? haha

Most unhinged movie I watched in 2022 but in the best way. The directors/screenplay writers did a great job mixing Chinese style movies with Hollywood. It was a little long but the journey’s worth it.
