First let me say, I’ve never played the Halo video game, nor do I know the Halo Universe. That being said, I am an AVID fan of Sci-Fi movies and have watched every movie and episodes of Star Wars, Star Trek, Star Gate, Battlestar Galactica, and many more. Moreover, I’ve watched every Marvel and DC movie out there and can relate to most comic book sci-fi fans. My take on the HALO tv series: I’ve seen the first two episodes and LOVE it!!! It’s has all the action, human drama, sci-fi tech and cinematography you’d expect in a good Sci-Fi outer space type tv series. Although it’s not as good as….say…Mandalorian (mostly because it’s done entirely in CG effects), it’s certainly entertaining and worth watching for any sci-fi lover. So in short, I highly recommend watching this series…it’s better than many of the shows I’ve seen put out by streaming companies, like Netflix. ***On a last note, I apologize to HALO fans for not having played the Halo game. This review was simply to reach out to sci-fi lovers like me who have no clue about HALO and/or characters in the game. It is meant to be an honest review based on how entertaining I believe it is and/or will be for sci-fi lovers.
