Fantastic visuals! Excellent cast; great acting…this parable is just as relevant today in 2021 as it was in 1998. The scene with the book burning and the ugly faces throwing rocks through the window that is “colored” and the antagonism toward people who are now “in color” recalls the 1950’s in the south and we saw the former president in the villain, big Bob, who tries to assert total control over Pleasantville. The movie is funny, tender and powerful..we thoroughly enjoyed it!
