This show is great for smaller kids. If you care enough to look the background of the show up, it’s very interesting. Most of the characters were created by Fred Rogers and made appearances in the land of make believe on his show. Bob dog, purple panda, Henrietta cow all made appearances in the land of make believe. Donkey Hodie lived in a town nearby the land of make believe called someplace else. The original Donkey Hodie is Grandpa Hodie (the original was created by Fred Rogers years ago). Bob dog was sent to someplace else by King Friday to live until he could learn to be a good dog. There are lots of little cross overs, but you really have to look for them (like Mr. Rogers front porch swing). Really like the lessons given in each episode. Only wish that PBS didn’t take the season 1 episodes off their site. My grandson loves them all.
