This game is a blast when it's working properly. The game play is top notch; shooting, hacking, dodging, and parrying are all very intuitive. These developers really captured the scale of 40k, all the environments are massive and can have more enemies overwhelming you in a second. However, the technical issues in the multiplayer hobble the experience. Server issues are far more dangers then the xenos or chaos. Most games will crash, and crash, and crash. Just tonight I played and finished Ops missions, only for 4 out of 5 to crash at the closing loading screen. Now each of these matches are 30-40 min long. Space Marine 2 is one of the funnest yet most frustrating experiences I've had gaming. I'll keep on playing knowing XP and rewards are more likely determined by shoddy servers rather than skill in the game. But once the tech problems are ironed out this is easily a 5/5 stars.
