The parents have been proven to be scammers. Karen (not her real name) was accused of welfare fraud and other things. Her husband adopted a teenage boy then used his ID to get loans, which ruined the teenager's credit when he became an adult. To read how people think that these parents are great, obviously have no morals themselves. On top of it all, you have the father who's more interested in his clothes, teeth and looks instead of getting things fixed for the house. He's a closeted homosexual. Nothing wrong with that, but the fact that he seems totally oblivious to how he comes across, is dumbfounded.
