This is what im wanting for a Godzilla movie! Every second Godzilla is on screen, im feeling fear! Its his eyes, they are so predatory. The human character we follow also has a compelling story. If you know Imperial Japanese culture at the time, then the main characters shame is felt. And after a certain event later in the film, you share almost every emotion the main character is going through and can almost read his mind for the rest of the film. A must watch!

I hope this is a lesson to all about how following the source material, and spirit of the show matter more than trying to appeal to a more broad audience. There is more cursing and unnecessary nudity than there should be, this is an incredible adaptation! Im looking forward to future seasons!
